Mateo (born March 8, 1989) is a hacker of the second generation of Pokémon, generally preferring Silver over Gold.

Mateo, like many of the Pokémon Generation, had many ideas and imagined implemented them to make the games feel new again. None of this felt possible until he discovered Coolboyman's Pokémon Brown. Because of that, he became inspired to learn hacking and has since worked on several notable Gold and Silver hack projects and hacking programs, as well as forming a hack team (Skeetendo, Inc.), which has since disbanded.

• Pokémon Sterling Silver - Canceled, but with a possible reboot. A project based off of Silver with many original ideas and features later moved over to Secrets and Rumours.

• Pokémon Secrets and Rumours - Currently being worked on. This hack uses Silver as a base with the goal of re-imagining the original generation of R/B/Y with the old rumours now fully realized.

Mateo has worked on several Gold/Silver hacking utilities, including translations into English and a tileset header editor of his own making.
