RyanVG was a Canadian ROM hacker who has created ROM hacks for a hobby. When he was ROM hacking, he found comfort in making text-only ROM hacks that were considered to be intentionally camp in style over the years. He officially retired from ROM hacking to take place on January 1, 2007 at 12:01 AM. Now that he no longer creates ROM hacks, RyanVG enjoys watching NASCAR racing on television and his favorite racer is Kyle Busch. During the winter, however, he also watches the National Football League and his favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys.

Inspirations for his ROM hacks included Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, his trips to Vancouver, British Columbia, the 1994 Cony unlicensed game World Heroes 2, the Christian Holy Bible, Freedom Fighters (a highly popular PlayStation 2 video game), and Capitalism, a critically acclaimed PC game.
